Earth Camp Day 5 - Ocean/Endangered Animals Day

On Friday we met at the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum. We took a tour of the Warden Aquarium there. We even got to do the Touch Tank!!

We then got to see some endangered species, including the Black-Footed Ferret!!! The Black-Footed Ferret was thought to be exctinct until a dog brought home a dead one after which they found about 20. Then a disease killed half. Now they are breeding them.

This is an endangered salmander.

We then built tools to take plankton, water and soil samples.
