Earth Camp 2014 Days 6 & 7 - Biosphere 2 Overnight

We spent Saturday and Sunday at home. On Monday, we went to the Biosphere 2. We took a tour of the Biosphere, but we went some places the general public can't go.

We collected water samples in the rainforest creek, mangroves and the ocean. With the water we recorded the pH, temperature and salinity. We also took soil samples from beside the rainforest creek, ocean and mangroves.

We took samples of plankton, plants and animals floating on the surface of the ocean that can be microscopic. We used nets with containers at the bottom. We had to use a boat to collect the samples.

After we finished sampling on the second day. we went snorkling!!! We weren't just snokling to see under the water, because there wasn't much but algae to see. We were snorkling to do a hermit crab migration and count chart. At the end of the day we went home telling of an experiance of a life time.
